One Piece Card Game: check set codes, products and languages

Start with the set code
One Piece set codes help distinguish products with similar names or retailer descriptions. For example, the official OP-18 page names its product The Dominance of God. Record both code and name. A short search such as OP-18 is useful, but the retailer description remains essential. Search results may mix individual boosters, displays and larger quantities. Check the unit you will actually order before treating two prices as equivalent or placing several products in your shopping basket based only on a familiar image.
Language is part of the variant
English and Japanese releases are separate product versions. Verify language in the title, description and official regional site. Similar artwork is not enough evidence. A release date in one region does not automatically establish a date elsewhere. Collectors may prefer a language or design for personal reasons. Players should also check the current rules for the event they plan to attend. This guide does not promise universal tournament eligibility for foreign-language cards; the organiser should be able to identify the rules that apply.
Keep product types separate
Bandai lists boosters, decks and other products as different categories. A preconstructed deck serves a different purpose from random packs. An Extra Booster is not automatically interchangeable with a regular expansion. Read the official description when buying an unfamiliar product line. Avoid assuming pack or box counts from a retailer image or a previous edition. If the contents are unclear, ask the store and keep its answer with your buying notes. This is particularly useful when the listing uses a translated or shortened product title.
Maintain a small set list
Record the code, language, product type and budget for each release you want. Add whether you plan to open the product or collect it sealed. This makes it easier to see whether two offers fill the same gap. The English OP-18 page gives 20 November 2026 as its release date; that is not a retailer delivery promise. Recheck the calendar and official source before ordering. You do not need another box merely because its set number is new or its artwork is popular if the offer itself remains unclear.
Your buying note in five steps
Open the matching search for OP-18 and select one offer first. For your private note, copy the full product title and add the language, quantity and product format. Leave missing information unresolved. Do not fill a gap using an image or another store’s description. This helps you compare the merchandise actually described and explain the variant you mean if you need to ask a question. The note is especially useful when several browser tabs show very similar names but different products or quantities.
Record costs and your decision
Write down the item price and shipping quoted for your destination separately. Add any further costs visible in the specific checkout instead of relying only on a discount percentage. Then record your own maximum price and purpose: opening, playing, gifting or collecting. Choosing to wait is a complete outcome as well. A search result, a newly announced date or a notification does not by itself create a need to buy or provide a guarantee about what a product will cost in the future.
After comparing
Finally, check the retailer’s delivery status, payment method and actual contents once more. If you order, retain the confirmation and verify that the language and quantity match your notes. When something differs, ask a factual question and record the response. If you spot a mismatch in the comparison service, keep the product link and a concise description of the problem. A careful comparison ends with an understandable decision and traceable information. It does not have to end with placing an order or increasing your original spending limit.
